Service Description

MurmurCast is an AI-powered content summarization service. It automatically transcribes and summarizes video and audio content from your YouTube subscriptions and other sources, and delivers personalized daily briefs to help you stay informed.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service without prior written consent.

Subscription Plans and Billing

MurmurCast offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Stripe to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Intellectual Property

Original content (videos, podcasts, and other media) belongs to its respective creators. Transcripts and summaries generated by MurmurCast are derived works produced for your personal use. You may not republish or commercially distribute generated summaries or transcripts of content you do not own.

The MurmurCast name, logo, and service design are the property of VulnXplorer. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

Service Availability

We strive to keep MurmurCast available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from service downtime.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MurmurCast and VulnXplorer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

AI-generated transcripts and summaries are provided on an “as-is” basis and may contain inaccuracies. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in activity that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the service or other users. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Settings page.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
