Summary

The speaker describes Flow, a yoga-focused app designed for both teachers and practitioners. On its launch day, May 5th, starting at 2:00 p.m., the app generated approximately $117,000 in revenue by the end of the day — a remarkable debut for a niche fitness and wellness product.

Flow operates on a recurring revenue subscription model with multiple pricing tiers. Users can choose from a monthly plan, a quarterly plan (available exclusively through the website), or a yearly subscription. This tiered approach appears to have contributed to the strong launch-day performance by giving customers flexible entry points.

As of the time of the interview, the app has approximately 4,000 active users across both paid and free tiers. Monthly recurring revenue has settled in the range of $9,000 to $10,000 per month, indicating that while the launch-day spike was extraordinary, the business has transitioned into a more modest but stable ongoing revenue stream.
