Survive 30 Days On An Island With Your Ex, Win $250,000

The show begins with Ashley being revealed to six of her ex-boyfriends on a tropical island, all competing to win her back and secure a $250,000 prize. The premise is that every five days, Ashley eliminates one contestant by smashing their heart prop with a hammer. The last man standing must then decide whether to split the prize with Ashley or steal the entire amount.

In the early days, the men compete vigorously to impress Ashley — setting up hammocks, bringing her water, gifting her jewelry and conch shells, and offering yoga sessions. Ashley notes distinct dynamics: a romantic connection with Mitchell, flirtatious chemistry with others, and a purely friendly bond with some. Mitchell is identified early as someone Ashley suspects would steal the money.

On Day 5, Jake is the first eliminated after Ashley identifies him as the person she trusts least. By Day 10, Mitchell is surprisingly eliminated despite Ashley's romantic feelings for him, because she prioritized trustworthiness over attraction. Gary wins a challenge granting him a private 24-hour date with Ashley, increasing his standing in the competition.

Danny emerges as a polarizing but entertaining figure — frequently making inappropriate comments and arguing with Ashley, but also making her laugh harder than anyone else. He wins multiple physical challenges, including a puzzle relay on Day 15 (gaining immunity) and a platform balance challenge on Day 20. After winning the Day 20 challenge, Danny is secretly offered $50,000 to either keep for himself or add to the prize pool; he chooses to keep it privately, walking away with guaranteed money.

On Day 20, Gary is unexpectedly eliminated when Ashley chooses to keep Derrick, citing greater trust. This narrows the field to Danny and Derrick. Despite Danny's entertaining personality and strategic emotional appeals — including mentions of his mother's potential Alzheimer's — Ashley eliminates him on Day 25, citing a fundamental lack of trust.

With Derrick as the sole finalist, the rules shift: Derrick is given a hammer and Ashley's heart prop. If he smashes it within five days, he wins the entire $300,000 prize pool alone. If he throws the hammer into the fire and splits, they each receive $150,000. After a long, deliberate night, Derrick chooses to split, and both he and Ashley walk away with $150,000 each.
